Acai apply for Tech Sub-fellowship

Hi, Bifrost community:

I am Acai from Magnet. I would like to apply for the Tech Fellowship to better promote the development of Bifrost and Substrate technologies.

Background

I officially entered the blockchain industry in 2017, when I assisted as the co-founder of Litecoin in promoting a series of Litecoin and Bitcoin upgrades. In 2017, I was also introduced to the concept of Polkadot and have been following the Polkadot ecosystem since. My first involvement in Substrate project development was in 2020, assisting some projects with outsourced development work. After that, I participated in several well-known blockchain projects, including Filecoin, and Tezos.

I formally entered the Polkadot ecosystem as a founder in the first half of 2023. I founded Magnet, a MultiVM smart contract platform using DOT as the gas fee, and received support from the Polkadot treasury. Magnet has now been upgraded to Magnet Stack, which aims to help new developers quickly deploy appchains based on Coretime. This product will be launched in the next couple of months, and we welcome everyone to participate in our early product testing.

Motivation

With the launch of Magnet Stack and discussions with Bifrost members, we discovered that this product could integrate well with Bifrost's LSD products and future Restaking products. We can provide corresponding application scenarios for Bifrost's LSD tokens, while LSD tokens can better offer security support for our potential customers, creating a win-win situation. Therefore, I hope to join the Tech Fellowship to explore the integration of application scenarios with Bifrost technology to better promote the development of Bifrost, Magnet, and Substrate technologies.

Additionally, the new SLPx product has potential collaboration opportunities with more Appchains built on Magnet Stack, making this technology a point of interest for me. These reasons motivate me to apply for the Tech Fellowship.

Value Add to Bifrost

• Support for expanding Substrate technology application scenarios, jointly exploring application scenarios for Bifrost's LSD model and Substrate technology to provide practical utilities for users.
• Technical support and collaboration for Magnet and Bifrost products and extended Restaking applications.
• Promotion of LSD dApp products to facilitate the emergence of more end-user applications.
• Integration of our new products into the Bitcoin ecosystem to jointly expand technological development on the Bitcoin side.
