Help Recover DOT: Talisman Wallet's Missing Warning Led to Bifrost-CEX Transfer Error

I tragically sent 683.42644337 DOT, funds that represents years of careful saving, to my Binance account using the Bifrost network instead of Polkadot. This single mistake has left me in financial turmoil, as these tokens were meant for critical upcoming expenses.

What makes this situation even more heartbreaking is that the Talisman wallet provided no warning whatsoever about potential network incompatibility. There was no safety net, no red flag, nothing to prevent this devastating error. In my excitement to complete the transfer, I also overlooked the crucial step of sending a test amount first.

Binance's response, while sympathetic, offers little immediate hope:
"This transaction is made with an unsupported network. This network is quite uncommon and we do not have access to it to make any return request. But does this mean you lost your funds? No, because transactions are still basically on the blockchain. Don't worry, if one day this network is supported on Binance to deposit the coin, you can try to contact us, we would check again on this case. Please save this TxID and get back to us one day. Unfortunately, we cannot confirm and promise when Binance will support the relevant network for depositing your coins."
I've spent sleepless hours researching solutions, reaching out to every support channel imaginable. This isn't just about money, it's about trust in blockchain technology and the safety nets we assume are in place to protect users.
I'm turning to this community not just as technical experts, but as fellow humans who understand that behind every wallet address is a person whose life can be dramatically affected by technological gaps. Is there any way, through community governance, technical intervention, or network-level solutions, to retrieve these tokens?

It's the same issue that happened previously for other users.
For those following the UX Bounty, i'm working with wallets team to introduce changes in wallest UI so that users get clear warnings for the CEX transfer use case.
The Bifrost dapp displays sufficient warnings, so each time the issue comes from users making transfers/x-chain directly in wallets.
Talisman should release a new version soon.
