Apply BNC for incentivizing vASTR liquidity in Hydration Omnipool

- BNCS farming is a way to earn rewards by contributing to the Bifrost network.
- The first phase of BNCS farming is ending, and a new proposal is being made to adjust the rewards.
- The new proposal will reduce the BNC rewards to zero and increase the DOT rewards slightly.
- The BNCS foundation will provide some of the DOT rewards, and users can also earn rewards by recharging DOT to the farming pool.
- These changes will take effect at a certain block height and will last for six months.

Bifrost wants to open XCM channels with other active parachains like Crust, Nodle, Centrifuge, NeuroWeb/OriginTrail, Ajuna, KILT, Zeitgeist, Polimec, EnergyWebX, and Mythical. This requires locking 20 DOT in Bifrost's child account on Polkadot, but it is low to no risk. After this referendum, there will still need to be two more rounds of referenda to fully open these channels. Batching all of these channel open requests together reduces the number of referenda required. The Chopsticks config for Bifrost was updated to separate out settings for the Bifrost Kusama chain vs Bifrost Polkadot chains to test this proposal with Chopsticks.

Initiate opening 10 XCM channels to other active parachains

1. Equilibrium chain lost its Polkadot slot lease and stopped producing blocks.
2. This proposal suggests closing HRMP channels to and from the Equilibrium chain.
3. XCM uses reserves on each parachain instead of actually moving tokens between chains.
4. Closing the channels will prevent impersonation and accidental user mis-use.
5. Moonbeam has already closed their Equilibrium channel.

- LEGEND already minted ~67k vDOT and added it to StellaSwap LP over the last 6 months.

Bifrost Finance has made several updates to its platform. Here are the important changes:

SubSquare has submitted a proposal for funding support to cover the operation and maintenance fees associated with the Subscan Explorer services provided for Bifrost. Subscan has been providing essential services for Bifrost, including computing resources, database storage, network egress bandwidth, monitoring and DevOps, node status monitoring and notification, and technical support. The Subscan Maintenance Packages offer tiered pricing based on actual usage. SubSquare is requesting funding support from the Bifrost Treasury to cover the total amount due of $10,067.4 USD. The equivalent amount in BNC will be converted based on the EMA7 price.

- Bifrost is planning to adjust the vDOT reward fee back to 10% in three stages.
- Currently, they are in Phase 2, where the fee will be adjusted to 5% for several months until Tokenomics 2.0 is live.
- The goal of this proposal is to generate more income for the Bifrost Treasury and prepare for the upcoming Commission Track Pallet and Tokenomics 2.0.
- Bifrost has already incentivized the first two unlocking events of the Polkadot Crowdloan, so there is no need to reduce the reward fee further.

- SubSquare is proposing to add their 1kv KSM validators to the VBL program.
